MR ANURAG GOLASH

Mr Anurag Golash graduated in 1990 and completed his higher surgical training in Cardiff. He has a special interest in kidney diseases, prostate cancer and keyhole surgery. He was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in 2004 to develop Laparoscopic services in Urology.

He was the 'first in the world' to report Laparoscopic Nephrectomy as a day case procedure – news which featured in BBC, local and national newspapers. He was awarded 'Citizen of the Year' for his innovation by the North Staffordshire council.

He is the Head of the Department of Urology services at the University Hospital. He has a special interest in Greenlight Laser prostatectomy.
